A quaint vegan cafe with good coffee and good vibes. I'm not a vegan, so was mildly confused by the steak and mushroom pie, which was definitely vegan (good news for vegans, but an unexpected surprise for an omnivore). For a vegan pie, it was good. For someone who was expecting meat (and I know, I saw a vegan cafe - why would I think the steak was actual steak??? doh), it was a bit bland. There is a pool table in the middle of the cafe, and plenty of outdoor seating with a range of board games to choose from. Overall, great little cafe!

The new nachos being added to the Paper Moon Cafe menu are my next-level comfort food and an absolute credit to the amazing owners, Mel and Brad. Perfectly crunchy chips, generous toppings, and bold, satisfying flavours that make every bite feel intentional and indulgent. The home made guacamole has me still salivating!! I have never had such good guacamole, and knowing it's Mel's personal recipe makes things even better knowing it's not some manufactured garbage in a dip container from Coles. What really sets their food apart is the preparation and accommodating service too. Paper Moon Cafe offers thoughtful vegan and vegetarian options. The nachos in the picture are the vegetarian version in case anyone is wondering. I miss the old owners Holly and Joddie but Mel and Brad are amazing if not even greater!! Mel and Brad have taken on a café that values inclusivity, quality, and community, and it shows to locals like me. These nachos are comfort food done right and a damn good reason to keep coming back!

This is my local and I regularly come here with my dog. I love the relaxed atmosphere and the garden out the back. I’m not a vegan and I enjoy coming here often for some tea and cake or just to stop by for a chat with the owners, old and new. I can’t wait to see what direction the new owners choose and I’m happy to continue to support this lovely local cafe.

Great food, and coffee. The atmosphere is great and the pool table and board games are always a favourite!! The vegetarian nachos today were fantastic. Lovely too see new items being added while keeping the old products too.
